ABOUT ME

God fearing Nerd who want to work and live abroad. I'm not always the loudest person in the room, but I do love meeting people from all around the world. I'm always ready for a random adventure, even if it's just just creating a fort out of chairs and a blanket.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone is strange, some more than others.

It is more important to live life than to live longer.

While I'm far from perfect, I want to make God my all, the purpose for living.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have had an amazing time couch surfing at four different people's houses in New Zealand and more recently at in both London and Cyprus. Someday, when I move out of the dorms, I would love to invite people over. For now I'll have to content myself with just spreading the word.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just realized that I have put extremely positive for all the references I have up. And its not like I'm just saying that. I have met amazing people on this site who just take you into their house. I got to try my first lamb and have my first "glass" of wine while couch surfing (ok, it was like a quarter of a glass, since I don't really like the taste of alcohol, but it was mine (and it was legal)). I had someone fix my computer(THANK YOU) and I've eaten freshly collected eggs, all while staying at the houses of people who had never met me before but were willing to share their house, privacy, food, and time with me. Talk about amazing.

兴趣

God, books, travel, politics, fantasy, I really want to lead a revolution or something. (or take over a South American country, but that may not go over well with couch surfers from South America)

I also think graveyards are fascinating. You can look at lives of people, see what mattered to them most. Don't fear death, reflect on the beauty and depth of life.

I LOVE TO READ!!! Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, Farenheit 451, Redeeming Love, Oh, there are too many to list. Recently a wide range including Jane Eyre, The Devil Wears Prada, and 1984.

Music: Christian Pop Rock, I especially like Kutless and Newsboys.

Movies: LOTR I also like things like a Walk to Remember and Footloose.

I spoke in the General Assembly Hall of the United Nations! I skiied in August (in New Zealand).

I rather like doing puzzles. I think they are such a great family and friends activity. And I tend to get rather focused when I start one. I mean you can't leave in just partially completed!!!

I'm also a swing dancer, and while I'm not really good at teaching it, I can tell you where to go to learn.
