Right now I am staying in El Sauzal, Mexico. I am from Richland, WA where after visiting a friend in Hood River, OR, had the head gasket blow out on my 79 Toyota Corolla. I picked it up on 8/23/19 and it sounds very different than when running before. Precision Automotive in The Dalles did the work. I like jazz, blues and classical music but can get into some rock and roll. I used to play the flute, sax, and guitar, but have not played in some time. Tequila sunrises are a favorite drink. Drinking green tea with oatmeal and yogurt in the morning is usual while cooking food like chicken, fish, rice, and vegetables in the evening is routine. I cook meals, buy food for my own meals, agree to split costs for shared meals, share the cost of gas for trips and have other monetary gestures of appreciation. I tend to be more on the quiet side but can be sociable at times.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was planning a trip to Puerto Vallarta or Guadalajara and heard about Couch surfers so am checking it out. I went through Airbnb before when I went to Guadalajara last winter but had some difficulty using their site this time, which I think is solved now. However, I found prices for round trip airline tickets and accommodations higher this time. So since San Diego accommodations prices are much higher, my itinerary has changed, I flew into San Diego on October 30, arriving at 9:15 PM San Diego, Lindberg Fld, and crossed the Mexican border on November 1. I took a bus to Ensenada and am now staying in El Sauzal until November 30. So the days I need a place to stay overnight are from November 30 and leave on December 2 at the latest since my accommodation in Tijuana will be available on December 2. If you are available those two days let me know.
