About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm a perpetual pilgrim in search of places, experiences, and people that radiate a spark of truth, love, creativity, and adventure. I always try to keep it real!
ABOUT ME
I'm a yoga teacher and student, love being outdoors as much as possible, believe plants/nature are conscious and wise, enjoy riding motorcycles (ENFIELD!) around India and Nepal, express love through cooking yummy vegetarian food, think trekking is where it's at, LOVE music, enjoy creating art - visually and with words, dig learning about various healing arts and philosophies, am a WEMT (wilderness emergency medical technician), and can't keep still in one place too long!
PHILOSOPHY
I live my life to penetrate various perspectives of truth as deeply as I'm able; to try to live without fear of the unknown but rather to enter consciously into a groundless space to learn more about my reactions and about unfamiliar places/people. I always try to cultivate patience, compassion, flexibility, and wisdom. And I try not only not to harm others in this process, but to spread a little good when I can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I think inter-cultural exchange is a practice that fosters flexibility and encourages interconnectedness - thus creating peace within and without.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't been a part of "couch surfing" per se, but I have spent many months living in the homes of people I'v encountered on my travels. These are always the most meaningful experiences. I look forward to using CouchSurfing to meet people ahead of time and get to places I ordinarily wouldn't think of going!

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh man. I'm a huge book and music fiend. We'll talk about all this when we meet! But the cliffsnotes for book themes are: all western philosophy and eastern spirituality, history, healing arts, poetry, and any thought-provoking novel. For music: jazz, classical, funk, folk, indie, and indian classical.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
all the quiet moments shared with others or experienced on my own where the magic and wonder of living floods my awareness and the clarity of mind shines through!
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I suppose my job is all about this - sharing and receiving knowledge about life and a place with my students, but also role modeling the "human experiment in living" - trying to live harmoniously with others, approaching all situations opportunities for growth to stretch the mind!
