Grew up and lived most of my life on a century family farm in Iowa. Been moving and traveling ever since. Couple trips outside of the USA to Australia and Europe. Several Backpacking and Motorcycle trips around the country. Currently working and living in Greenville SC and loving the south!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Heading out to California for the second time to visit friends and see if at some point California could be on my list of places to live and work next! Looking to meet nice local people when I am traveling to understand and see the city in ways I would not be able to "Google Search" for things.

Interests

Active sports fanatic...Volleyball, Basketball, Water Sports, Motorcycling... Loved to hike for days on end when I was growing up and looking to get back into that routine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After Graduate School I rode on my Yamaha Motorcycle from Chicago to LA to Seattle and through Canada back to Iowa on a solo 6,800 mile 22 day trip of Route 66, Hwy 1 and Yellowstone.
