关于我

CURRENT MISSION

"To make nice life, good human relationship, love job and put nice facebook picture of lunch every day". Surely, that must be enough... :-P

ABOUT ME

I'm a 33 years old Romanian living in Bucharest. I moved back to my home country after living and working in Copenhagen, Berlin, Amsterdam and Leipzig for about 7 years.
I hosted many wonderful people during the first couple of years of living in Copenhagen, but I can not host right now, perhaps in the future I will do it again. I would love to give you tips about awesome things to see here off the beaten tourist path, even show you around in person(...if I have the time to do it). I'm a very liberal and laid back person. I'm always looking to make new friends :-)

PHILOSOPHY

I am a classic liberal. I'm relatively amoral and I try to have a fair and impartial point of view on all issues. I think there is no fundamental good or bad, most conclusions are drawn based on the context. Most. Some things I have very strong opinions on.

Relax, though - I am far from being uncaring.

Also, show respect - don't bring your religion into discussion trying to proselytize or start preaching personal convictions to me or anyone else who is not interested, "...or else!" I'm going to get into politically incorrect mode, troll you and debate your sorry ass off until your brains are knocked out. I wouldn't bring this up if it hadn't happened several times and when CSers do that it's so annoying to everyone else in the group. Don't get me wrong, though - I like to discuss about the history and actuality of mass beliefs, myths and cultural differences.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I mostly hosted, haven't surfed that much - but at some point I'll take a vacation and get my CS karma in balance :-)
I also attend local CS events now and then. I can make a damn good unofficial tour guide of any city that I have lived in so don't be shy, just ask :-D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted quite a few people and I was always willing to show surfers around Copenhagen, both when it comes to landmarks and to places that only locals would know of.
I also hung out with members of the Copenhagen CS community often.
Overall, I think CS is a great idea. The only regret that I have about it is that sometimes I meet very interesting people, that I wish I could have spent some more time with, but we will most likely never see each other again.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I'm sorry, dear friend, but if I told you...they would kill you.

教,学,和分享

Be simple. This simple.

DO "The Master Key System" by Charles F. Haanel. Even better, do it together with your most trusted and result-oriented friend.

Do everything important in writing. "Verba volant, scripta manent".

Be honest and trustworthy, but don't be naive. Be friendly and gentle, but firm and direct with your politeness. Speak your mind. On the long term, it will pay off. Don't mind short-term consequences. As long as you're a gentleman/woman the people who matter will notice.

Don't ever be passive-aggressive and always approach passive-aggressive people with directness and together with at least one trustworthy witness.

Be the change that you want to implement. Take direct action. Walk the streets at night and talk to all the people with odd jobs working at those hours. Make educational exchanges with them, do all you can to boost their confidence. Encourage and support leadership and progressive attitudes and thinking. Read, write, draw.

Do high level calisthenics every day-all you need is a proper grip or leverage point. Start with the negatives on any moves you can't perform so your nervous system gets used to it. A 50kg female chimp can tear out your arm from the shoulder and beat you with it. Firing a medieval longbow takes hundreds of kilograms of strength.

Learn how to defend yourself and others. Drink good beers and eat a lot of protein.

The human mind has no limits. Develop it. "What you can think, you can achieve". That doesn't mean simply challenging your intelligence permanently. Develop it. EXPAND it. Arts, Sports, Games, Rhetoric, Body Language, "Taste". In one word. BE "class".

Find out what your key strengths are and improve them. Ignore the weaknesses. You'll learn how to avoid them with experience. Others will either support you or try to put you down. Use your strengths to keep the balance positive. "Every success starts with a failure".

Powerful does not mean bossy and hierarchical. Influence makes you powerful.
Rich does not mean wealthy and flashy. Ignore the "upper class" rat racers. In the majority of cases, only the "elite" will have something truly important to teach you and usually you would never guess that they are above upper-middle class if they wouldn't tell you.

Find out who people truly are by finding out who their most trusted ones are.

Learn perfect English with EF, then learn any other language you want to with the Michel Thomas Method.

The MIT Courses are available for free. Encourage the bright youth to get better than their demotivated or authoritarian school teachers.

Be perceptive, alert and responsible. If you ever have to strike preemptively, strike at the weakest point, do the least damage and ensure "recovery position".

Sleep at least 6 and a half hours a day.

Choose your guests so you can be personal and have a genuine exchange of ideas and a pleasant experience on both sides. Keep in mind that every CSer is different. Be a good host and let them know if you have rules from the beginning.

And do report negatively people who write to several hosts, choose one and don't apologize to the others. CS is not a free hotel. There's tents for that. Or sleeping bags. If you ever have to kick someone out and have those, it's a simple, elegant temporary solution.
