About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel a lot here. On a mission to learn more about the world history and ways of living for locals. I take free walking tours around Taipei.
ABOUT ME
Interested in knowing local people, culture and food. I have traveled to 39 countries so far. Very open minded and friendly. Can hold conversation regardless your race, age and believes. Please do not hesitate to contact me. I was a flight attendant for 6 years and loved the career and the traveling part.
PHILOSOPHY
Dare to dream and live up to my dreams.
Being off centered is part of a balanced life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it's one-of-a-kind experience! Isn't it?
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can teach you some Chinese survival words. I also teach English on the side. If possible, it would be great if I could go to local markets to see the real life and food. Please also allow me to take you out for dinner once to show my gratitude. But I do expect the genuine local food!!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Limited experience but I'm so glad I did it. I believe people are just as important as sight-seeing when visiting a place.
Interests
Taking fun photos. Eating local food. Meeting local people. Knowing more cultural part of the place. It would be great if I get to know secret spots with heavenly beautiful scenery.

Music, Movies, and Books
Gosh, I like movies. My favorite is The English Patient, which I'm planning to watch again soon. Also, I go for most of Oscar nominated movies. Night Train to Lisbon is a great piece as well. My faves now are indie films, European movies and Bollywood.
Jazz music is cool but local music is great to experience.
Book? Hmmm, I'm reading Steve Jobs biography recently, the first book I try to read seriously after I got my degrees four years ago (2008). I read a lot on history and travel info.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
39 countries aren’r a small number. I have visited some amazing museums, temples, churches. And, I also enjoyed the history that attaches to the land I have visited. But, if I really have to name one most amazing thing I have done, it would be Cuba, such an AMAZING place!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach English and Mandarin. I learn through interacting with people and hearing their stories. And, I share life experience. Just let me know what you want to know.
I have recently started learning Spanish. Hopefully, in a year I will be able to make basic conversation. (It’s been a while but my Spanish sucks. )
What I Can Share with Hosts
My travel stories as well as my spirit to learn about local cultures. And BTW, I have a photo website.
