ABOUT ME

I am 33 years old, came to New Zealand about 9 years ago and joint CS four years ago(I think?!?). I am a boatbuilder, working right now on super yachts but I usually work on real boats. Love travelling, sailing, music, oh music.......goes well with good food and a nice wine, oh food and wine. Eating and cooking, can't have one without the other ! Interesting people with interesting stories and songs are most welcome to join. Giving is a big part of life, why not enjoying it?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

There were always friendly people who offered me a couch or a chat or some other help on most of my journeys and I always remember them as a very important and best part of my travels. I'd like to give some of that back and learn from each other. There is not much I could teach, but a lot fun and a place to rest your head for sure.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A few came through and I did some myself. Never had bad experience and met a lot of nice people by just having a cuppa or some beers.

Interests

Truckloads! Boating, travelling and having fun with friends. Music, dancing, music, drumming, sailing, living, did I mention music? sports, swimming, volleyball, playing Frisbee on the beach, building boats and learn from others. Meet more interesting Couchsurfers and heaps more.

Music, Movies, and Books

My heart beats for off beat. Reggae and everything around it, Jazz, R'n B, Folk and Balkan and I am a big brass fan. Everything with good vibes. Tom Waits, love him. Best movie, mhhhhhh..... most festival movies, I don't like most of the mainstream ones. (There are some good ones though). Best one ever: mmmmmmmhhhhhhhhh tough one, Amelie or Star Wars? can't possibly decide. Reading "The Power Of Now" right now, still not quiet sure about the power. But getting the 'now' I think.
