Hi, my name is Coumba Myerson and I am from Burlington, VT

I like to sketch and paint. I haven’t been able to paint much because since moving into a tiny dorm room, I‘ve realized large canvases and acrylics are really impractical. So I’ve been reduced to sketching in my free time. I also love writing. I’m not a huge fan of poetry, but I do love writing short stories, and I’ve even written a few novels. I haven’t published them, but maybe with some serious editing I might.

It may come as a surprise to many, but I am a big fan of heavy metal and post-hardcore music. I have been a big fan of the genre ever since I was younger, and I am very excited about that music scene and its developments. The celebration of expression and freedom have always drawn me to the culture.

I love economics and I’ve recently discovered I really enjoy computer programming and 3D Animation. I have also enjoyed learning to speak Mandarin Chinese for the past four years, and continuing the classes here at Middlebury College.
