ABOUT ME

I am an explorer of space and mind, aerial planes. I practice poi, yoga, dance, theater, and direction. I want to live every moment and keep my mind open. I entertain ideas about opening theaters.
I am from Maine, and I love being outdoors meditating, or walking around in the woods. I like holistic medicine, specifically herbs, and I like foraging and growing tomatoes on the east coast. Sometimes I like to sing around campfires.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to see the entire world! I live for new adventures and meeting new people, trapeze wherever I can find a good tree, and I love to dance. Gregor and I hitchhiked through parts of Nevada, California, Arizona, and back along route 77 through the Midwest and New York to get back to Maine. I lived in Scarborough for a while, and now I'm living out of my car for a while.

I would more than love to show you around my favorite home city - Portland, Maine! I know the city pretty well, and can find something based on your interests to keep you entertained while you're in town. My favorite activities to drag couchsurfers along for are firespinning on Friday nights in Tommy's Park, a yoga class in town, or to eat at my favorite restaurant/cafe, Local Sprouts. I'm a pretty busy gal, but I would be more than happy to bring you along on my adventures or point you in the right direction to find your own.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Lived in a house where unofficial couchsurfers came in and out all the time. Met a fellow couchsurfer and caught a ride to Burning Man. Went to the CouchSurfing Tent at Burning Man, and had dinner with a delicious habanero pepper grown in someone's garden that made me cry. Couchsurfed through parts of California, Nevada, Arizona, New York, Illinois. Hosted couchsurfers in Scarborough, made yummy food. Attended Burning Kouch 2011!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The other day I was sitting meditating on this rock surrounded by a stream when I felt the need to stop and look up. I wiggled my fingers and looked up to see this hawk swooping down to fly 15 feet above my head. I gazed in awe as it glided silently through the air currents, and marveled at its freedom.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach: Spanish, piano, trapeze, yoga, meditation, and mindfulness, beginning poi, singing, breath work, jewelery making, how to establish alternative economies.

I can learn: anything you have the patience to teach!

I can share: my stories, my time, maybe some handmade jewelery or reiki if there is time and interest, maybe a delicious meal, and always a walk or drive around Portland, Maine with some stops at my favorite places.
