My mission is to experience as much of life as I can having the time of my life.

ABOUT ME

I like to think of myself as pretty easy going and love to have A LOT of fun. I love to laugh as much as possible....even at my own jokes at times. I know that is bad to do! ;)
I am a middle child (people tend to say I have the middle child syndrome???) Therefore, I guess I am the one who loves to take care of people. What a better way to take care of someone than to open up my home to them---maybe YOU?! I am a teacher, therefore, I have my summers off and I am looking to try to take advantage of doing a little CSing this summer.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to be happy and learn as I go. The more people you meet the more you tend to learn. I have very strong feelings to always see the best in people. I am confident that my experiences here will only enhance me as a person.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well... I have met several very cool couch surfers through an AWESOME friend of mine. Most of the people I have met call me a COUCH SURFING WANNABE. I don't WANNABE a WANNABE anymore so I am joining the fun!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only met and hung out with my friends' couch surfers. I have been to a few of the Minneapolis get togethers and was told (at the last get together) I could not come anymore unless I had my own profile. Nice people huh???? So here I am..... need I say anymore.

Interests

I love to do many things... hmmm what to tell you first! I enjoy taking in "happy hour" ... or hours with the best of them. I love to spend time with friends and family. I visit Boise, Idaho FREQUENTLY! And NO it is not for the potatoes and YES there is a lot more to Idaho than just the land of POTATOES!! I have a loving sister, great brother-in-law and a precious neice that live there and they love it in Idaho completely. You should visit the "GEM STATE" if you get a chance.
I enjoy spending time outdoors - the ocean and the mountains can not be beat for spending time outdoors. I obviously have neither in Mpls. Therefore, I need to travel and love to do it. I have to say that I have not been to nearly as many places as I should have already visited given the opportunities that I have. (ie. the ENTIRE summer off) I am slacking... So again, here I am.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love my ipod!! You will find everything from R&B, Pop, a lot of 80's, to country to jazz to alternative. I like to think, (the key being I...) am very well rounded with my music. I am a die hard with CHICK FLICKS, but am open to much more than that. My favorite author is Jodi Picoult. She is amazing and writes great books about family issues, kids and some world issues/views that will really make you think. I love her books and would recommend them to anyone.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A friend from college and I drove from Mpls to New York --stopping along the way (Chicago, Niagra Falls, Boston, Cape Cod...and on and on). It was a wonderful opportunity and a great way to spend a few weeks of first summer off as FREE TEACHERS. Let me tell you teachers can be crazy people....seriously! We hide it well.

Teach, Learn, Share

First off, I love to talk!!! Just ask my AWESOME friends...I think at times my friends wonder if I ever run out of things to talk about. I do... and I can be quiet and listen to what others have to introduce me too or share about themselves. I love when people pick my brain, even if it makes me dance a little. That is what makes learning happen, when you are out of your comfort zone. That is when people open up to new things, ideas and people.
