ABOUT ME
I'm a current graduate student in social work and public health at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill (2014-2016). Prior to returning to school, I worked in refugee resettlement (2012-2014) and was a Peace Corps volunteer in El Salvador (2010-2012). I lived in Charleston, South Carolina, for the five years prior studying international and environmental politics.
I grew up in Charleston, WV, and currently live in Carrboro, NC.
Life is exciting- I don't take it for granted; I love to travel, and I love getting older.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couchsurfed a bit in Canada and Central Eastern Europe and also a couple times in the United States (Colorado, Kentucky). I love to travel on a small budget, and I have been particularly fortunate to meet sincere and generous people that have made my experiences all the better. I feel its the best way to travel sustainably while intimately connecting to local cultures in a short time.
