I just moved to Eindhoven, NL from San Diego, CA in the US. I love to travel to new places, meeting new people, and learning new things! This crazy world we live in is endlessly interesting, and I want to experience everything that I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love just about every type of music I've been exposed to. I go through different phases and will listen more heavily to one genre, then move on to another. Lately I've been listening to a lot of pop and motown in the car, and classical or electronic music when I'm working. Classic rock and country are what I grew up with, so those always have a fond place in my heart. Show me your favorite music, I'd love to hear it!

Movies/TV: I can't possibly pick a favorite, I love movies/TV in general. I tend to gravitate toward comedy, action, or dramas but I'm also into horror. Some TV series I've enjoyed recently are The Good Place, Stranger Things, the OA, Dark, Jessica Jones, Black Mirror, Handmaid's Tale, Queen of the South, My Hero Academia, Star Trek Discovery, Westworld.

Books: Again, impossible to pick a favorite. I absolutely love to read. I'm currently reading The Great Passage by Shion Miura, Dune by Frank Herbert, and The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark by Carl Sagan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While at university I spent a semester in Washington, DC interning for a member of the US House of Representatives through the Panetta Congressional Internship Program. At the time, Leon Panetta was the Secretary of Defense, and we got to meet with him in the Pentagon.

Just this year I got certified to scuba dive and dove at the Great Barrier Reef.
