About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Initially, several years back, it was the economic advantage.
Currently, it is the chosen preference to meet my destination head on. It's also nice to give up control of my internal itinerary and replace it with local recommendations.
Honestly and amazingly, All of the best parts of my trips have been my Couchsurfing experiences.
I like the organic connection with an area that you seem to only get from being taken in by the people that grew it.
Interests
Camping, hiking, dancing, biking, massage therapy, exercise, travel, people, live music
I have some serious fitness goals at the moment, so don't be alarmed if I'm gone early on a run. (Unless specified otherwise by preference of host!!)

Music, Movies, and Books
In no certain order. Destroyer, The War on Drugs, Real Estate, Toro Y Moi, Papadosio, Pink Floyd, Umphreys McGee, Dolly Parton she turns up, Kurt Vile, Talking Heads, Particle, Beach Fossils, Tame Impala, Washed Out, Of Montreal, Rhye, Radiohead, The Growlers, alt-J, Khruangbin, that's all for now gurl.
Wild at Heart by Stasi & John Eldridge
The Girl with all the gifts by mike Carey
The Road (of course) Cormac McCarthy
Hatchet by Gary Paulsen. I remember loving that one. I actually thoroughly enjoy reading but have given less effort to finding an immersive one lately.
I usually base my favorite movies on the ones I watch when I'm sick..... which isn't often, so movies are pretty scarce. I've seen a ton, but it's never on the forefront.
Yet, I will strategically omit blades of glory.
Walter mittyyyyyyy that's a fave. Eternal sunshine.
I'm struggling to open my movie vault. I listen to more music
***edit 9/29/17, watched Mr Nobody for the first time. Omg
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share
I love hearing other people's music preferences and showing them my playlists as well! Always cool when there's an outlier overlap.
