I am an American living in Mainz. My professionals interests lie in working with underserved populations, specifically in the realm of libraries and/or corrections. My personal interests run the gamut.

I absolutely love languages and I really enjoy the type of traveling that does not consist of cramming in as much as possible, but instead involves exploring one place thoroughly. I've studied Spanish since I was 12, but have never had the chance to immerse myself in it. Right now, I've put Spanish on hold to focus on mastering German. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I completed the Camino de Santiago in 2011. I hope complete at least part of a pilgrimage to Canterbury next year.
