I live in Paris as an Au pair and a freelance English teacher. I am. Looking to study in France also! I was living in Lyon(France) for 6 months as an Au Pair in order to learn French and experience French culture. I see myself as a very confident person who can occasionally be loud when i laugh (it sounds like a seal.) I am a very curious and intrigued person with meeting new people and listening to their stories and what they have to offer.

I was working 3 jobs as a Programme Leader for a childs organisation, a shotgirl in a club, and a teacher of english as a foreign language online. My goal this year is to be a freelancer with a sustainable income and to become a dive master(PADI.)

I also would say i am the funniest person i know, but sidenote- i may be biased as i am with myself 24/7.

I am a Vegetarian (12years going), however don’t mind the smell of meat and happy to cook meat! Hypocritical, i know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As i have been opened up to the world of travel, i realised that one of the best things that come from it, is meeting new people. There are various ways to do this but i believe obtaining an experience to its potential is to stay with a local. I was an Au Pair in Lyon, France and living with the locals, furthered my adventures, as i learnt more, saw hidden places and met more people. Some of these things, i wouldn't have, if it wasn't for kind strangers, i got a authentic experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite movie is Batman- The Dark Knight. The love made its way on my body in the form of ink on my skin.

Music- as long as i can dance, i am down. However Techno/house music is the one genre i am not very keen on. Pop, hip hop, indie, rock, screamo; i’m game.

What I Can Share with Hosts

The knowledge and interesting experiences i have had with my travels, reckless laughter, a good ear to listen to stories, problems, ideas, i can give an insight to English culture aswell as French culture.
