Hey there! I've always found this part most difficult to not waffle! I am a young enthusiastic, easy going and adventurous fist-time couch-surfer. :) My name is Courtney and I am in my third year studying Sculpture and Combined Media in LSAD, Ireland. I'm starting my adventures by going off to the Netherlands for the summer and do some hopeful job searching so I can experience the country as much as possible! :) I'm also hoping to find some couches to surf on to meet cool and interesting people, and until I get my feet on the ground. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's my first time not only couchsurfing, but also living away in a foreign land. When I first heard of it, I found it a brilliant way of getting to know people of the country and to travel! :)

Interests

My interests branch out into pretty much anything, but I'm mainly interested in art, music, philosophy and psychology. Anything creative based and enjoyable. I like to carry around a sketchbook and draw the world around me. :) I'm interested in going out and socializing and doing any sort of adventures. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm pretty easily satisfied with music, as long as it has a decent rhythm, i'm happy enough to listen to it! My music would be normally in the 70's-80's genre such as The Doors, Pink Floyd, The Stone Roses, Deep Purple, AC/DC, Velvet Underground, Fleetwood Mac. Any hard 80's rock such as Twisted Sister, Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Girls School, etc. I also like Alternative rock, grunge, Jazz, Funk, Blues, Rap.. I could go on, but to shorten it basically anything!!

I'm good with movies too, (just not the standard Chic-flicks, haha!!), action, geeky (superhero, Marvel, DC, etc) based, horror, comedy, experimental art, fictional, thrillers, documentaries... My most recent favourite movie is Pulp Fiction. :) oh and also, most importantly anything with DRAGONS! :)

I'm drawn towards psychological factual books at the moment, but when it gets a little too heavy I go to fictional and adventurous themed books! :)
