About Me
Hello! I’m Courtney and I’m currently travelling solo for the year of 2019. I am in Jordan at the moment and loving it!
I haven’t really done too much Couchsurfing so I think it’s about time I get more into it!
I started my trip in South Korea > Taiwan > Thailand > Nepal > India > Pakistan > Lebanon > Jordan...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I haven’t done much Couchsurfing in my travels, I’ve mostly stayed in hostels and with friends. I think this would be a great way to mix it up and immerse myself in the surrounding culture, and also to challenge myself.
Interests
I love to read and learn. I’m open to all topics. Swimming and hiking are my favourite physical activities. I’m a huge fan of mountains, though I’ll be struggling the whole time I’m walking up.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - almost exclusively 80s pop/rock. Maybe some 00s pop thrown in the mix. I’m a huge Queen fan. Huge. David Bowie, ELO, George Michael, Phil Collins, Elton John, Cher
Movies/TV - Studio Ghibli, QT, Game Of Thrones, Handmaids Tale ...
Books - currently reading The Godfather, always love some Stephen King, also enjoy mixing it up with some nonfiction but I’ll always be the biggest fan of dragons so fantasy/sci-fi is my go-to
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Graduated BMed Science in 2017
And travelled solo!
Teach, Learn, Share
When I’m travelling I enjoy trying to take photos. I’m still learning. I also like to do little sketches. Still learning that too.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I know a little about science/health so can perhaps contribute to some interesting conversations. But mostly I can share awful jokes and hopefully some laughs.
