About Me
Hey :)) sooo a little about me... I'm a massive animal and history lover so my ideal day would be the visiting the zoo and a museum. I'm also a big foodie with a *generous* appetite (not so big on the cooking side though, more the eating). As a person I'd describe myself to be insatiably curious, a shy extrovert (kind of) and dry in my sense of humour.
...... At the moment I'm a psychology student who is about to start her first year at uni. This is kind of a major reason for why i signed up as i want to be able to travel the world whilst i have the freedom to do so. Why I've hoped onto this is because travelling is my main passion in life as I am very novelty driven aha and I love to have fresh experiences and meet new individuals; from the whimsical to the weird. My interests range from bushcraft to the history of the industrial revolution(Ok, a little pretentious but it was the first thing that popped into my head :'))
For this reason, I would probably be interested in anything a host can share with me and I'm all up for sharing whatever i can! :) Hopefully in the future I'll be able to host myself but first I need to experience being the hostee!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I signed up not only because it's a cheaper alternative ;) but because i think the concept of being able to meet and get to know interesting people you may not typically talk to on your travels really adds to the experience as I've found that in my past travels I've clung to the group I'm with and I haven't really experienced the culture fully. Not that I have a problem with the go to tourist areas I'd just love to explore off the beaten track and a bit of direction would be wonderful :)
Interests
Arts - surrealism, so Frida Kahlo & Salvador Dali ofc. I recently watched a video on body marbelling, the outcome was pretty; so that's a to do.
Festivals - arts, food, vegetarian, music.
80's - fashion, music, the a e s t h e t i c, everything basically. It was the golden age for culture sooo ;)
Foraging - a huge interest although I've not had much opportunity to explore upon as I live in quite a urban area.

Some of my favourite movies include; Ferris buellers day off, memoirs of a geisha and spirited away.
Teach, Learn, Share
Looking to improve on my french which is at a very basic level, so any help there would be massively appreciated :)
Also, looking to improve my ukulele playing skills and share knowledge on world history and art.
I love to learn in general so I'm willing to learn whatever you can teach me, within reason aha.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm well read up on history and the social sciences so I'm happy to share my knowledge.
Being a native English speaker I'm more than happy to help with English, be it communication or writing.
I am also more than happy to help with any chores that may need doing in return.
