About Me
*Currently on a 7 month world tour with my partner, Matthew. Our itinerary: Georgia, Armenia, Pakistan, Oman, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia. We hope to meet lots of locals and fellow travelers.*
Current mission: Explore the world.
Philosophy: Try everything twice.
We both enjoy hitchhiking, couchsurfing, hostels and other forms of budget backpacking, finding it to be a unique way to meet people and understand a culture. Here because we want to make connections with people who are willing to share their thoughts.
Our interests include: rock climbing, hiking, cycling, dancing, art museums, FOOD, history and learning languages.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The local experience! People are what makes a country special. I want to know more about how other people live. There is so much to learn about life from others.
I've met incredible people on the road and I think of my hosts as friends, not acquaintances.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've done...well it would take forever to tell all my stories. Here's a few things.
I hitch-hiked and slept on the beach for a week in Turkey with my CS host.
I was invited to a party of sorts (thrown for my benefit) in Vietnam and communicated with hand signals. I even attempted to sing Vietnamese karoke!
I was on a train for two days straight in India and never left it once. More importantly, during this ride
I was invited by a family to share all their meals.
Snorkeling with sharks and penguins in the Galapagos!
Reuniting with a Brazilian friend for Carnival in Salvador that I met on Couchsurfing in Germany!
Attending a wedding between two couchsurfers in Pune, India!
Teach, Learn, Share
I always love learning about the local culture, history, and language.
Willing to share whatever I have.
Happy to teach English as well.
What I Can Share with Hosts
