Overview
About Me
Doing some travel before returning back to Canada for nursing school. I have lived abroad for about 2 years now in Thailand and South Korea. I love food tourism and am interested in war histories, outdoor explorations, animals, and eating all the vegan food!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couch surfing to meet some new people while I am traveling. My hope is that locals might be able to help me find some different things to explore, while I can share a little of my culture with my host! I am also hoping to find a place where I can work online during my travels.
Interests
Powerlifting, learning new languages, eating new foods, baking, women and gender studies, all dogs, exercise physiology, meditation, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Drove a scooter in Chiang Mai and survived.
Teach, Learn, Share
I feel that couchsurfing would offer the opportunity to strengthen communities across countries, and create lasting friendships. As a Canadian, there are several stereotypes that I would be happy to dispel about my culture, and would also like to give advice on travellers considers visiting Canada.
I would hope to learn from hosts about the city I am staying in and their couchsurfing experiences. There is no doubt that couchsurfing comes with its risks, and so finding a good host with experience would offer the opportunity to share tips on how to surf safely.
