About Me

Hey there! I'm a nomad traveling the country with my partner in an ambulance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why Couchsurfing? I really appreciate the concept of being welcomed into a complete stranger's home for a night while I travel. We need programs like this to promote community and the ability to travel freely. So far my experience has been wonderful and has formed friendship that has lasted way longer than my stay.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This past school year I became a project leader for the Environmental Leadership Program at my university. My project is a food recovery program that collects leftover food from the cafe on campus and then repackages it to be served to our community partners, the Northeast Florida AIDS Network. In just 3 months in action we've diverted over 1,000 pounds of food from the landfill and served over 1,000 meals while also winning a $10,000 grant to expand our efforts! I'm incredibly proud and excited for my project and can't wait to see how it'll grow in the upcoming future.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Awesome and polite company that will greatly appreciate room in front of your house to park and sleep in our vanbulance. After hosting a variety of travels in my home I've learned that I'd rather leave a place in a better way than I left it; contributing to the growth of the space without it being an entirely extractive transaction. So we're willing to help you garden or build a compost or cook a meal or whatever with you!
