About Me

CURRENT MISSION

experience. i want to see as many places as i can and meet as many people as i can during my time on this earth

ABOUT ME

I'm from the South so expect a slight Southern drawl. I love music more than life. I am always reading a book. I take my camera everywhere.

I work at the local Humane Society so if you are interested in doing some volunteer work while you are in town, the animals would love to hang out with you!!

PHILOSOPHY

I never want to hold anything back in my life. I want to do everything and I don't want to slow down anytime soon. I want to meet people and experience all that my life will be able to offer me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to this and hoping to grow more active in the philosophy of what couchsurfing is. This is a dream come true idea!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had limited couchsurfing experience but what I've had has been the epitome of a perfect couchsurfing experience. Stayed with a couple in Istanbul. Watched fireworks. Ate perfect food. Danced to traditional Turkish music while highly intoxicated. Made some new friends.

Interests

I am interested in life. traveling. board games. walking down a street i've never been down before and knowing that everything i'm seeing is new to me. dogs (i seriously love dogs so much it's almost ridiculous). cats are cool too. any animals really. especially pandas.

Music, Movies, and Books

When people ask me what my favorite movie is I always have a tiny bit of an issue coming up with an answer. I LOVE Quentin Tarantino and I thought Inglourious Bastards was absolutely genius. I love everything he does. I love all kind of movies, even the bad ones. My favorite music ranges from Johnny Cash to Nirvana to Brand New to Black Flag to Bob Dylan to Local Natives. I love my music like I like my life, eclectic. My favorite book of all time is To Kill A Mockingbird because it's just the epitome of a perfect Southern novel. I'll read just about anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done a bunch of crazy things in my lifetime but some of my favorite memories are random roadtrips where I grab a few friends and hop in my car and drive until we feel like stopping. I typically always end up in New York City because I love that place so much. I've eaten kabobs in Istanbul. Climbed the Eiffel Tower. Smoked in Amsterdam. Eaten pizza in Naples. Gotten lost in Venice. Fell in love with Greece. Been to a billion museums in Rome. Been skiing in the Alps. Skinny dipping in the south of Italy.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can always help someone practice their English if that is something that they wish to improve. I'm always down for discussing anything and everything there is to discuss. Literature is usually a soapbox of mine so if you want to talk about your favorite books I would love to listen and participate.
