Overview
About Me
I just like to wander around most of the time. I also like to grow food, eat food, and talk about food. I'm up for an adventure at any moment, whether it's a roadtrip, a hike, or a spontaneous trip.
Being somewhere new is the best feeling I've ever known. I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, but I have also lived in various parts of Washington State (Seattle, San Juan Island, on a farm in Poulsbo), Wyoming, and New Zealand.
I just returned to the US after a year living, working, and traveling in New Zealand on a working holiday visa. I'm sticking around in the US for a bit but plan on heading to Australia in the next year.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
One of the best parts about traveling is meeting new people and seeing a place like a local. I want to meet other travelers as I wander around. Everyone I've met through the community thus far has been so kind. All of my experiences with hosts have been great.
Interests
Traveling, farming/gardening, cooking vegetarian meals, hiking and being outside, learning new things, writing about all of my adventures, drinking lots of coffee, hanging out with puppies (or cats or llamas or whatever animal is around), going to museums, browsing through bookstores, more coffee...

Teach, Learn, Share
I want to share my interest in organic farming and also learn more about it from anyone who is more experienced than I am. I'm hoping to do a lot more of it in the future. I would also love to learn another language and would be happy to spend some time helping someone learn English in return.
I'm always open to learning, teaching, and sharing anything I can!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my love of fresh food, growing vegetables, and (vegetarian) cooking with my hosts. I enjoy cooking big meals with friends, hosts, or other travelers. I am also happy to share coffee, wine, and stories.
Countries I’ve Lived In
