Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I work in event marketing and am trying to book jobs outside of Portland more since I'm a work-a-holic. 99% of the time the companies don't cover room and board and since I'm there to work, I'd like to try and keep financial spending down to a minimum. BUT I'm also really bad at networking and would like to meet more people.
