Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore every inch of the world and be exposed to as many different cultures as possible.
ABOUT ME
I am currently a PhD student in the UK, and loving every second of it. For the time that I am relocated across the pond, I hope to immerse myself completely in the traditions and lifestyles here in England.
PHILOSOPHY
You control the world around you with the energy you emit.
Interests
First and foremost I am a music lover. I play the violin and piano, and I am always looking for new artists to discover. My genres are everything from rock to classical, indie to rap.
I also enjoy revelling in nature. Whether this is through simply country walks, mountain hikes, or just sitting on the beach, I love being outside. When the weather isn't so nice (as it usually isn't in the UK) I take up reading. Since scientific reading is my daily routine at the office, my recreational reading consists mostly of classic and modern novels.
Outside of all that, I am an outgoing girl who can get down with some dancing, pints, and ice hockey.

Music, Movies, and Books
It would be impossible to list my favourite musicians, but I will start with a few artists I love:
Yellowcard, Of Monsters and Men, Hey Marseilles, Dave Matthews Band, Kid Cudi, Passenger, Eminem, All Time Low, City and Colour, Twenty One Pilots, and Amy Winehouse just to name a few
My favourite classical composers are Debussy and Brahms, with Brahms Cello Sonata No. 1 in E minor being my top piece.
Top novels that I have read:
The Millennium Trilogy, Lolita, The Alchemist, Great Expectations, The Harry Potter series, A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Great Gatsby, The Winter of Our Discontent, and always looking for more to add to this list
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once drove from the Atlantic Coast to the Pacific Coast and back. It opened my eyes to the world around me. Not only how vast and different it is, but also that everything is closer than it seems.
Since then I was inspired to pick up my life and move across the ocean to try out a new life there. I am currently living in England and love every second of it. I feel so blessed to have such wonderful opportunities.
