ABOUT ME

I'm from Sydney, Australia. I have just graduated from a 5 year law/international studies degree. Before I start looking for a job, and get stuck in the daily 9-5 grind, I'm hoping to have a few more adventures.

I love to travel, and meet people. I love eating and hiking (not at the same time). My favourite place to be is by the beach. I'm easy going, and don't take myself too seriously - love a good laugh!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed many times, and have had the pleasure of being hosted by the most wonderful people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I began Couchsurfing in 2014 during my year studying abroad in France. My experience with Couchsurfing has been a mix of good and bad, but the good definitely outweighs the bad.

Besides the occasional inappropriate message, or uncomfortable host, I have found Couchsurfing to be a great way to meet friends, and explore different cities as a solo traveller. From my experience, living with people is a great way for amazing friendships to form. Personally, I made my best friends abroad through couchsurfing.

As a guest, I think I am really flexible. I appreciate any hosts' efforts to show me around the city, and share your life, but I am also very independent and love to explore alone.

Interesses

I travel whenever I have the time and money to do so! While I'm travelling, I love reading, photography and hiking - these are the things I never seem to have enough time to do whilst at home.

I love everything. I love documentaries about anything, as I love to learn. I love romantic comedies when I'm feeling tired and need an easy laugh. I love classic novels, like To Kill a Mockingbird. I also love fantasy books, like the Harry Potter series, which always brings me back to my childhood.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

I spent the entire summer of 2014 traipsing around Europe alone, jumping from city to city, exploring and exploring and exploring. I am still in awe about the things I saw, people I met and things I did... I wish I could do it again.
