About Me

In 2016 my wife Sara and I went on an epic 6 month trip across Southeast Asia. Then, in 2019, we cycled New Zealand. Just recently, in 2025 we cycled the Great Ocean Road in Australia.

We love cycling.

We've experienced meaningful moments trough couch surfing and are here to pay the generosity forward.

As for what I do to make money: I'm a brewer. I also have a brewing company called Silly Sir Brewing that I founded with Sara. It's on hiatus for the time being.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In 2012 I cycled across Canada with a friend and we stayed with over a dozen lovely people. The following summer, I did another cycling trip with a couple other friends across the UK and Ireland and met even more lovely souls.

In 2016 we backpacked Southeast Asia and were blown away with the incredible warmth and love we've shared with our newly made friends. The world of full of people who are inherently good.

We know how couchsurfing is the best way to see a country and to meet locals. When done right, you're putting as much into it as you get out and trying to pay it forward whenever you can.

Sara and I might not be up for much on a weeknight, but who knows. Maybe we'll at the very least have a couch for you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cycled across Canada! I've also run a 2:52 marathon!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to draw a dragon, and attempt to teach you how to make a water droplet sound by flicking your cheek.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My wife Sara and I have had some fun adventures and would love to share our stories with you. Sara's a very good cook, and I can do a cool whistle thing with my hands.
