Hi there,

Over the past 15 years I've traveled and lived overseas in many countries, until recently I decided to come back home.

Now I live in Alt Empordà, a natural region in the northeast of Catalonia, next to the French border.

If you're spending a few days in Barcelona and would like to see something different, or if you're traveling along the AP-7 highway and would like to stop somewhere, this place would be a great choice.

The main towns nearby are Figueres, just 55 minutes by train from Barcelona, and La Jonquera, the main border crossing with France, just 30 minutes north from Figueres.

I would like to show fellow travelers around my region, with the possibility of hosting, specially for campers.

I know the area quite well, so if you're into overlanding, mountain climbing, river swimming, camping, horseback riding, kayaking, exploring abandoned farmouses, castles and ruins in general... don't hesitate to hit me up!
