ABOUT ME

I am a calm easygoing person and I love seeing new places. Meeting with friends, spending time with them is enough to cheer me up. I believe that a good chat and two glasses of beer can make anyone good friends. I like to write short stories when I can afford the time but I never tried to publish any of them, so I guess it is just a way for me to express myself.

PHILOSOPHY

Choosing is not independency as long as you are not free to avoid choosing at all. I just want to live my life as I want it to be... I don't like being dependent to a person, a religion, or even an idea!
I don't like to feel sorry for myself because I believe that, even if it is very little or only to some degree, I have control in everything that is happening to me and when I do have this control, I always do the thing which I think it is in my best interest.
On the other hand, I like to help people in need and believe that every man is born good. In my opinion, being good or helping people should be unconditional. Otherwise it turns out to be something else and this is another reason why I participate in Couchsurfing.

Music -participating in summer festivals especialy-, watching a movie at home, backpacking, camping & tracking...
If there is no special event, I like to go out, especially to Taksim, but I am not a party monkey. I prefer places where I can listen to rock but can get along just fine with almost every kind of music. When it comes to dancing, well why not after 3 or 4 beers?
I regularly go to swimming and spend most of my time with my girlfriend, or out in Taksim with fellow guests...

In the waters of Bosphorus, I saw a dolphin, which raced against the boat I was in. It was the first and last time I saw a free dolphin...

I saw a pack of wolves when I was traveling by train in a very cold winter from Istanbul to Ankara. Alpha and Beta were waiting for the rest of the pack to catch up. I guess they were using the railways as a way of tracking. You would know what I mean if you ever watched Wolf's Rain.

After the big earthquake in 17.08.1999, I realized that people are good at heart but most of the time, we are just distracted.
