About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet new people, experience more life, see the world.

ABOUT ME

Born in the KC Metro Area, lived in Portland, OR, Scottsdale, AZ and proud to be back to my roots in KC, one of the coolest cities in the country (but Portland is my first love). I've traveled the US, traveled the world but can never travel enough. I'm currently not working full-time so I'm able to act as a tour guide to those who would like to get to know the city better.

PHILOSOPHY

It's only an obstacle if you let it be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Willing to offer a couch or bed, when available, lunch or dinner when appropo and show you a city full of incredible food, music, jazz, culture and friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted people from as far away as Toyko, Germany, Barcelona and been to a meet up in London, meeting people from around the Globe and met new friends in the Amazon. This is an incredible community and I've not had a single bad experience yet.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything that isn't fiction. I have most of the Adrenaline series of short stories, love biographies of adventurers and travelers. Love Jazz, Blues, Indie, and almost every kind of music with few exceptions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There's a place in Greece called Meteora that is a 6 hour drive from Athens. It's probably one of the most spiritual, exhilarating and unusual places on earth. A series of monasteries built by monks in the 16th century on incredible pinnacles that stick up out of nowhere, it still gives me goosebumps thinking about my time there. Google it and if you're anywhere within a day of this place - GO! You'll never regret it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a pretty good cook, can teach you how to tell if a pineapple is ripe, how to make some great all natural body butter or body oil, make you a pair of earrings, show you a little electrical, a little plumbing, how to to patch a flat roof and get the tar off your hands afterwards (butter). I have more tools than most guys.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Belize, Canada, Fiji, France, Greece, Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, Peru, Saint Lucia, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Virgin Islands, U.S.

Countries I’ve Lived In
