Overview
About Me
Hi World!
I can't wait to meet you.
ABOUT ME:
I am a young designer and social-do-gooder based in Seattle. In addition to currently running a non-profit, I also am incubating a few small projects--including a design studio focused on playground design & public spaces.
I pack what little free time I have left with art (never travel without my sketchbook), reading, writing, play, and of course, travel. I also love to bike, climb, and do parkour!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
WHY IM HERE:
I LOVE meeting new people. I think that you are always limited by your perspective, and the quickest way to growth is by getting to know others through their vision of the world. Even though I often have the means and methods to stay in an airbnb or hotel, I'd much rather travel more informally and have the opportunity to make meaningful connections and learn new things.
For me: I love HOSTING people who want to sit up in the evening and have a drink and talk about life, philosophy, how to be good people, our world experiences, and the likes.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a voracious and avid reader.
Currently Reading: Meditations by Marcus Aurelius
and I recommend it!
I am not discriminating when reading. History, philosophy, design, science fiction, fantasy, cooking, self-help... you name it, it if it is interesting and worth reading, I'm up for it!
I can recommend you books, and definitely LOVE recommendations!
Teach, Learn, Share
TEACH
Parkour! I have over 10 years experience and am one of the longest practicing women in the discipline. I have been teaching for years and my organization works with schools and gyms all over Seattle. I'd love to get down and show you some of the basics :)
Plein air/on site sketching basics
Architecture and urban history, specifically American and western European
What I Can Share with Hosts
I bring huge positive energy with me and a thirst for conversation. Let's skip the small talk and jump right to the big talk--about life, politics, religion, society, consciousness, spirituality, our selves as we see it. I am eager for meaningful connection and communication with others.
I also like leaving behind something memorable from my stay--usually a sketch of your home or of a meal or the likes.
