ABOUT ME

I'm Chris, I grew up on the Isle of Man and i'm currently in Edinburgh doing a Masters. I love travelling (obviously otherwise I wouldn't be on here!) i've travelled all over Europe, Canada, Indonesia and i'm currently saving up for a round the world trip taking the train across Russia to Asia and then over from Japan to Alaska by boat.

I'm a passionate climber and mountaineer and have travelled extensively all over the UK and further afield to the Alps and Italy to climb.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm interested in meeting other travellers, I may be able to host people in Edinburgh from time to time, but at the moment i'm studying for a Masters degree and so don't have much free time to host anyone! I'm happy to meet up for a drink or to show you some parts of the city!

The reason I got involved in CS is that I want to meet new people in interesting places, I feel that you don't really know a place unless you immerse yourself in the local culture and what better way to do that than by meeting local people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only had quite a limited CS experience so far, having come back from my first surfing trip around Germany, I met some great people and had some amazing experiences and can't wait to do it again!
