Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Discover and revel in as many peoples and cultures as possible.
ABOUT ME
I love to travel, read, learn, and lift. I also enjoy outdoors sports: camping, cycling, hiking, climbing, sailing. Love studying religion and politics (the two things mom said never to talk about at dinner or in front of guests), and learning just about anything new. I'm currently reading and writing screenplays for film: hoping to eventually get paid to write.
PHILOSOPHY
What can I say, I'm a Jesus freak. I love meeting people from all backgrounds, and think that the most important quality a person can have is the desire to become a life-long learner. This enables not only tolerance of people, ideas, and cultures, but also allows the truth and beauty of life to spring forth through the chaos.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would like to host those traveling to the Southern California area, and would probably be able to schedule a few tours, sightseeing, and other cool stuff if you give me enough notice. I also travel through CouchSurfing myself.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite film is Gladiator, but I also love the film Contact with Jodie Foster. Don't have a favorite musician, but I will listen to anything at least once and like all genres. I read a lot, but have been confined of late to read textbooks for school and material for work.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've seen people overcome the pitfalls of being human, and transform themselves into something completely different; a very humbling and amazing thing to see and experience.
I went skydiving in 2011: it was awesome!
Teach, Learn, Share
I read and write English well; know a lot about photography and filmmaking, and some about art. I also know a great deal about theology. I would really like to learn to surf and learn more foreign languages, as well as some good foreign cooking.
