About Me
Hello! I'm Caitlin.
Things I'm into: fairy + folk tales, representation of women and people of color in TV and film, watercolor, economics, limericks, trying to keep my neighborhood affordable, libraries, racial and economic justice, biking around, dumplings, crossword puzzles and other word games excluding Scrabble, singing, and baking.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet the other people who live on the planet.
Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite books are often epic intergenerational novels like One Hundred Years of Solitude, Angle of Repose, and Middlesex. I also like P.G. Wodehouse a fair bit.
I recently really enjoyed reading Rebecca Solnit's "A Paradise Built in Hell" about how mutual aid happens during natural disasters.
I'm into nonfiction that sweeps through large swaths of history. I highly recommend Debt: the First 5,000 Years and Marriage: a History.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
