About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Getting my thoughts together before starting a new stage in life

ABOUT ME

I was living for six years in Okayama Prefecture, Japan, where I obtained a MSc in Environmental Sciences and a PhD in Biosciences.
During my stay I did my share of travelling throughout Japan and also had the great chance to visit other Asian countries, like Bangladesh, Thailand, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Malaysia.
I just got a job in New Zealand, and I am currently awaiting for the visa procedures to be over with so I can start my new life in Kiwiland.
In the mean time... I'm hitting the road!

PHILOSOPHY

The world would be such a boring place if we all were alike.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I expect to be able to provide a couch when I get established in NZ. As for now, it will be all about getting to know people and appealing to those who have a sweet couch to offer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My CS experience is not that extensive. So far, I have only stayed at a friend's place here in Malaysia, and based on this experience alone, I only have good words to say about the whole thing.

Interests

Travelling, diving, reading about contemporary history, sightseeing. Getting to know people and their culture.
