About Me

CURRENT MISSION

other than completing grad school, my current goals revolve around working hard and saving money to keep traveling

ABOUT ME

I'm ambitious, fun, and outgoing. I'm a party girl, artist, and writer. I love outdoor activities like beach volleyball, riding bikes, and cook-outs. My dog, Mango, comes with me almost everywhere I go. I'm a pretty average, laid back chick who has been known to carry hitchhikers across state lines when I had only planned on running a local errand and am known for letting strangers crash at my place.

PHILOSOPHY

I have certain goals that I plan on achieving throughout my life--I'm extremely driven and good at following through on what I set on doing. At the same time, however, I maintain the spontaneous, spunky, adventurous side that's based mainly around having good friends and participating in fun activities. I practice going with the flow and trying to treat everyone in my life with respect. I think it's important to be balanced, honest, and sincere.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I'm new to this--I only heard about the project recently...but even though I don't live in a flashy place, I'm definitely available to be someone's sleep-over spot if they're traveling through. I've had a lot of good luck in the past with my traveling experiences and I'd like to help others achieve the same.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went skydiving in Theine, Italy. It was probably one of the most exciting things I've ever done. It happened at the end of my study abroad last summer. It changed my life because we had a near accident on our jump, but we recovered. Our time is too short to waste or to live in fear of anything. We've all got to appreciate each other, our relationships, our talents--everything. Taking that risk was amazing. I would do it again in a heart beat.

i'm a sculptor, and i have extensive knowledge about power tools, fixing things, construction, etc.
