Chi sono

A couple of years ago I completed a cycle from the UK to Hong Kong. Whilst on that journey I discovered Couch Surfing and was able to stay and meet with so many amazing people.

Now I am studying in Cardiff and I want to give back to the community and help people by offering my place to stay.

I am friendly and have a good sense of humour. Please get in contact if you are looking for a place to crash, wash your things and eat! Also happy to meet up with and show people around the city if you already have a place to stay!

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

What started out as a drunk idea, quickly escalated and became reality, we were going to row a boat down the Mekong river.

Locals told us it would be impossible, the internet was filled with forums explaining how dangerous the Mekong river was with unpredictable currents, rocks and boat eating whirlpools.
Looking to friends for encouragement was only met by photos of people being eaten by Anocondas or Crocodiles.

Scared to death with absolutely no river experience between us, we went out and bought an old leaky boat off a local fisherman and we were off.

The journey turned out to be everything we had hoped for, incredible scenery, rural villages, locals looking at us with shocked faces quickly followed by huge smiles and waves, passing unmapped Dams, luckily passing through rapids that were probably to big for our aging boat, campfires with fishermen encouraging us to eat fish heads, a colony of Ants taking over our boat and nearly dying... twice. The perfect adventure.

We made it! Luang Prabang to Vientiane in 10 days.

There is no such thing as a bad drunken idea!
