About Me

Currently on the road for 5 months in Europe; Seeing the amazing sights and meeting the incredible people this incredible continent has to offer.

I'm an easy-going, respectful guy.

I was very recently bit by the travel bug and now trying to visit everywhere I can.

The little guy in my picture is my nephew; he's 6 months old.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to learn about different cultures and the ways of life for people around the world. It's a one of the main reasons I love traveling so much. I feel the CS community embodies the freedom and openness that traveling affords all while meeting local people and sharing stories of life and experiences.

Interests

Traveling (obviously), rock climbing, hiking, camping, whitewater rafting, roadtrips, slacklining, mountain biking, snowboarding, rafting, sports, learning to play guitar, photography, videography, video games, movies, and reading.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: A pretty wide variety of preferences. Lately? Chill out EDM.

Books: Vagabonding (in progress), Point of Impact, Time to Hunt, The Things They Carried, The Sisters Brothers, Dad is Fat

Movies: Snatch, Cinderella Man, Shawshank Redemption, 180° South, Mile - Mile and a Half

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Haiku stairs (Stairway to Heaven), Oahu, Hawaii
-In Thailand, swam at night in water containing bioluminescent plankton
-Witnessed a flash flood in Zion National Park
-Highfived a wild sloth.

Oops, it says only one thing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to share my knowledge of my interests! I am very passionate about them all.

I would love to be able to expand my knowledge in the Italian language as I only know a small amount.

I'm also learning to play the guitar to if you'd like to teach me a song or two, I would be forever grateful. :)
