Overview
About Me
Eternal optimistic. I should have died a long time ago. The fact that I woke up, again, this morning - simply amazing. I want to learn a little, laugh a lot and make something a little bit better; every day. Unless, today is the day, if so, I'll go into the night
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The opportunity to share a fantastic place, meet interesting people, develop friendships, contribute to a community, travel
Interests
Wharf rat all my life. First boat at age six. Life long fascination of cultures, their cuisine and history. The Black Sea particularly. Back home, the rainforest. I like the bear trails best. The sea, my favourite playground; on, in or under the water. Also interested in four legged friends, horses and dogs particularly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Most recently. Puppies in my living room. Ruby had a litter of six on Remembrance Day. The holding of a newborn in it's sac and freeing it to so it can breathe, live, then grow ten times it's size in so many weeks. And puppy love for all those weeks? Amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
The most important important thing that you can teach is how to learn and share that. I have instructed different people in different things from stained glass creations to technical writing to ocean kayaking.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Respect. Situational awareness. Interest. Bouts of story telling followed by earnest listening to others speak. Cooking/dishes. Advice on how to operate, maintain or repair just about anything.
