Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm Craig (33) from London, United Kingdom.
I have just finished my first through-ride from London to Cape Town, South Africa, where I covered 27 countries and nearly 20,000km.
I've thoroughly enjoyed my journey so far and have decided to continue it by moving on to South America where I'll ride the length of the Americas.
I tend to wild camp where I can, however, I've had some great times with the warm showers community back in Europe, so I'm looking forward to also meeting and sharing experiences with people on CouchSurfing and eventually returning the favour when I get home.
I've not used CouchSurfing before but as I mentioned I have used the cyclists version of it - WarmShowers - so you can check out a few references there: https://www.warmshowers.org/user/203953
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet local people to have a more personal experience of a town/city. I find this is the best way to truly discover a place. I'm also interested in meeting local people to understand the culture and history of a place and to hopefully build relationships with some likeminded and cool people.
