I am married and live .....literally on a mountain top in Brevard NC. We stopped eating meat, chicken and pork about 7 years ago. I really dislike what we do to animals. Care deeply about Food and Health: organic, tasty, healthy food, preferably local. There are so many hiking trails, waterfalls within a few miles of our home.

It seems everybody on CS seems to be younger than me. That provides me with an older man's coolness and wisdom. Since with great power comes great responsibility, I try not to abuse that. I just try to stay calm and learn from people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have moved around so much....I really like being in one place...here in Brevard. The mountains are great, plenty to do...and just a wonderful place. I have enrolled in a 24 weeks school in Charlotte and will be there about 3 nights a week starting in June or September...depending on if I can find someone to stay with.

We bought this house almost 5 years ago and have almost completely remodeled it. And I did most of the work myself. It is way to big for 2 people....but it is really great. We can host maybe in a few more weeks.
