About Me
Hello! Hallo! Hei! Helo! Hola! Hai! Bonjour! Nazdar! Gluten Tag! Bonjourno! Ahlan bik! Salâm! etc. You get the picture ;)
My name's Craig,
I'm 25, I'm from Ireland and I love humans (animals are pretty cool too...) but yeah I'm a people person, I love travelling and have been doing so around Canada and America for the past 2+ years playing music and experiencing life. Before that I lived in Berlin which is where I first came in contact with CS and the people there were more than welcoming.
I must say it has been a lot of fun so far and I have met some truly amazing personalties along my way. I've now been to 20+ countries (and counting) and I find discovering more about the world and it's inhabitants is what I truly enjoy.
If any of you surfers see this page feel free to hit me up for places to visit and things to do in Ireland and although I currently don't have a place of my own I'd more than welcome you for a pint of Guinness when you visit Dublin!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to befriend people and to diversify myself and push the boundaries of our borders and I dig the idea of a wanderlust community in all honesty.
After following the sub on reddit and reading through the posts, it re-sparked my interest! I got a lot of love in Berlin. I feel there really is so much more of the world for me to see and more people to meet and more good times to be had.
Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy most music involving instruments, which is a pretty broad statement but my favourites are Hip Hop, Jazz, Blues, Soul, Funk, Disco, and some good ol' Rock n' Roll!
I also like anything that makes me dance.
I write, sing, produce and play a range of instruments too.
I love old films, like the 70's/80's masterpieces. Tarantino is cool so is Kubrick,
I like Irish authors, Roddy Doyle is the man and I'm currently reading Dubliners by James Joyce 10/10
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm not sure what I would define in my life as amazing but I feel like I'm an interesting guy and I know I have made a lot of people happy
I've written a lot of music, poetry, a cartoon and a play which I'm proud of, and I've worked in a variety of challenging jobs from stock broking to graphic design, designing medical devices to filming commercials and tv.
All of which are interesting but not so amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach the spoons and harmonica in a short visit! And a lil English too.
Would love to expand my language skills!
