I decided to 'hit the road' at 19 and have traveled for about 6 and a half years. My philosophy was always to live somewhere in order to truly understand a place. 3 years in London, 3 months in Israel and another 3 years in the USA, plus I've lived all over South Africa! Recently did Australia and New Zealand, heading to Europe again soon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing also gives a great opportunity to meet travelers in my home country, which is what I love. I don't meet as many foreigners as I did when I lived in places like London, so this could be a good way of helping out a fellow traveler, whilst also being able to meet interesting people.
