I am a freelance writer. I love meeting people and learning. As a writer, my job is to learn about a subject and write a story. Therefore, I know a little about a lot, and a lot about very little.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently writing a romance novel. I also think that a book about Couch Surfing will make an interesting subject and plan to write about the people that come to stay at my home. If possible, I may combine my experience as a host with a couch surfing experience of my own.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love songs from the American Standards Songbook (e.g. Sinatra, Martin, Davis, Bennett, etc.). I also enjoy jazz.

When it comes to movies, I watch Turner Classic Movies on a regular basis.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am a sailor and have sailed the Virgin Islands, San Juan Islands, Miami to the Bahamas, San Diego Bay, S.F. Bay, and had a 30' Catalina on Lake Mead from 1993 to 2005.
