ABOUT ME

I am a full time self-employed musician. Play in numerous bands on numerous instruments, do session work and the like. My main project (my own band) is called Beyondsemble and we are actively looking for gigs outside New Zealand for 2011 as NZ is simply to small. I'm touring Europe for 7 weeks July/August 2010 with Mark Mazengarb (Beyondsembles Guitarist) scoping out opportunities and making contacts with a view to bringing the whole band over in 2011. We are doing this totally on the cheap, backing ourselves and trusting that our adventure is going to pay off for the band.

PHILOSOPHY

When you follow your passion with 100% and devote your life to it then the universe conspires to help you achieve it. The more people pursue what they are truly deeply passionate about, the better the world will become for all life everywhere

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Basically I am looking to meet people and make contacts all over the world. I have a strong commitment to the idea of community and believe in people helping each other out. I often help traveling musicians to my own country.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a new couch surfer. Currently surfin my second couch in Dingle, Ireland. Thankyou Zanet for an awesome experience. Am definitely going to host others when I get back to NZ. Its a great community to be part of. Sharing meals, playingmusic for our hosts and such. Just brilliant way to spread humanity I think.
