About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Getting settled in Leiden

ABOUT ME

I try to enjoy the simple things like a nice walk in the city or reading the newspaper with a coffee. It's a pleasure meeting new people because we each have our own perspective on things. I can't play any musical instruments, but I really love sports and outdoor activities.

PHILOSOPHY

The short answer is to continuously learn and enjoy the simple things in life. Don't worry too much about things because it all balances out in the long run.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about the CS2 Project through a friend. I definitely would like to couchsurf some more, and host fellow surfers when I get back to California.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm still relatively new to the CS2 Project so I've had 2 CS experiences in Russia and one in Estonia.

I've always liked Maxwell.
The movie "The Natural" is great

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

hiking Mt. Fuji with the wrong kind of clothes. mountain weather can change so quickly.

Teach, Learn, Share

I highly recommend trying hang gliding and sky diving. They were wonderful experiences.
Trying to make the best out of situations has generally worked well for me. My baseball coach in junior college always said, "don't worry about things you can't control." This is a powerful quote.
