About Me

I'm a bit of a geek at heart, I spend a lot of my free time at my computer, watching YouTube videos about Parkour/Freerunning, how to make stuff, dance choreography, technology, musicians, vloggers, news, gaming, photography, film making, coding, writing, educational stuff etc. I think you can tell a lot about a person by the channels they are subscribed to on YouTube.

I also watch a lot of tv shows, currently watching The Flash and Arrow (they have cross over episodes which are fun), but I like these too: Psych, Castle, The Mentalist, Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, House, House of Cards, to name a few. Again, you can tell alot about a person by the shows they watch.

I like to head down to London to go bouldering/climbing, I haven't done Parkour in a long time but I intend to get back to it and London will be a good start, just general wandering around and people watching.

I have recently taken to doing timelapse photography (I always liked it, but never had a computer good enough to make them), so I take one when ever I get the opportunity.

Those are just some of the many facets that make me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always felt that the best way to experience a place is through the eyes of a local, and that is the experience I think I will get from staying/meeting up with people on CS.

We're already a friendly bunch simply by wanting to connect and share our homes, but for those that go out of their way to show others the areas they call home that makes for an interesting adventure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I grew my hair for 3 years, ending up at a very respectable 18". During that time, I made the decision that when it got to the 3rd anniversary, I would cut it all off and donate it to a charity that makes wigs for children that have lost their hair due to things such as Alopecia or Cancer treatments like Chemotherapy. I also managed to raise £135 for the charity to help towards the cost of buying/supplying more wigs in the future.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I trained as a chef when I left school, I worked in kitchens for around 4 years, but have retired from that business now. But it is a life skill that I wouldn't change for anything. I love to cook, I pride myself on being able to make something from pretty much anything that I find in the fridge, cupboard or freezer.
