They would say I'm a workaholic, but that is because I love what I do! I like to have fun too, of course and that's why I have such wicked mates.

Interests

I'm a Geogaphy PhD researcher and am fascinated by how we engage with the world. Maybe that is why I also put on nights, play in bands and dj whenever possible because I like to see people switch on, to pay attention. I think that happens when we come across something different, in people, places and epxeriences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Seeing the solidarity of protestors on the slow marches at the Barton Moss protectors camp in Salford (where I'm doing research).
- Playing Balkan Ska to frowning old French men with really big waxed moustaches at a ski resort (pre snow) near Mont Blanc, then seeing them go crazy when the brass came in & start dancing.. best audience ever!
