ABOUT ME
I like all sorts of books, films and music but I don't own a television. Worked in call centres, building sites and now as a journalist over the last few years. Moved from a small-town local newspaper to Aberdeen for better treatment and city life. Lived in Glasgow before that where I studied politics and partied a lot :) I'm open-minded and easy-going and keen to meet new people.
PHILOSOPHY
Be nice to people, learn what you can and have as much fun as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have only just joined as I'm travelling with a friend who couch-surfs. I like to see places through the eyes of a local rather than seeing holidays as a photo opportunity. I'm happy to return this favour and show people round Aberdeen and socialise with them. sofa-bed is available when I am and sometimes another bedroom too.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed for the first time in Turkey in May. It was a very positive experience which I hope I replicate when people visit me!
