Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm an American engineer (electricity, heat, aircraft and ocean stuff) on his big dream bicycle trip from Southeast Asia up to Russia, through China.
ABOUT ME
I woke up a little while ago and realized that my siblings were all well-married, and I wasn't, and my parents were still in good shape. So this was my chance to "hit eject" and do this trip of a lifetime.
One thing that might "pause" this would be an opportunity to teach for a year or two at an international high school along the way. That would really do it for me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Now I'm in purely "consumer" mode, as I'm nothing more than an international high-tech homeless man now myself. Just saying.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've only couchsurfed just a couple times TEN YEARS AGO in Washington DC when I was going to a renewable energy conference, and it went well. There's some interesting characters out there, let me tell YOU.
Interests
Bicycles. 3D printing. Ships. Schemes, inventions and business ideas. Alternative energy, namely wind power.

Blink, Tipping Point, Brazil (the movie), plenty of documentaries, and books about shipping and shipbuilding. Plus, some of the Christian Bible.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Start and grow my company ReclaimMedia.com. I'm not there full-time anymore, but it's wild to start with an idea and wind up with something that's getting emails and phone calls, employing people, and even making a couple bucks.
Teach, Learn, Share
Basic computer programming, energy and electricity, help setting up and fixing computers, bicycle repair.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Plenty of stories, cleaning help, engineering advice, conspiracy theories, etc.
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, Botswana, Cambodia, Japan, Namibia, Poland, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand, Viet Nam
Countries I’ve Lived In
United States
